Six Degrees of Separation, Presidential Edition
So it turns out I'm pretty closely linked with President-elect Obama. His chairman-designate of the Economic Recovery Advisory Board, Paul Volcker, went to the London School of Economics with Leroy Dunn, my dad's next door neighbor growing up. In fact, Volcker was the one who introduced Leroy to his wife, Gaby.
I'm telling you, it's a small world.
Me -> Gaby and Leroy -> Paul Volcker -> Obama. Awesome!

It's a small world indeed! I just found out that Northern Virginia Community College contacted Jill Biden -- apparently, she still wants to teach (but not at a big name university) while in Washington, so NOVA (as well as Montgomery College and UDC) went ahead and let her know that they'd be happy to hire her...
