Project 365 Day 122: May 2, 2013

Last Father's Day, I bought my dad an old, rusted out pedal plane from eBay. If you had seen it when I bought it (click on the link to see the "before" shot), you would've thought I went shopping for Father's Day at a landfill, and would've thought I was crazy. But check out this "after" shot - can you believe these are the same plane? My dad is awesome at these restoration projects! This is a 1941 US Army Pursuit plane, and was probably made some time up to 1950. If you live in Windsor and are going to the Memorial Day parade, you will probably see it in the back of my dad's Willys Army Jeep. :) http://flic.kr/p/eg8JGy
