Project 365 Day 213: August 1, 2013

For the first few weeks of the various farmer's markets I've visited, all of the offerings were rather boring - mostly lettuce, garlic and dairy products. My dad said to just wait a few weeks, and he was right. Back at the Wethersfield Market today, there was a little of everything. My favorites were these eggplants/aubergines, in various shades of purple...my favorite color :) The girl at this booth said that she's had people buy vegetables for tablescapes and subjects of photographs/paintings! http://flic.kr/p/fo2TpP
