How the dissertation's going
Why thank you, kind people, for rising to the occasion and pestering asking me about my dissertation. As of last night (well, really, 2:45 this morning), I passed the 2,000-word mark. The limit is 8,000-10,000 words. Woohoo!

2000 workds is great! Do something really nice for yourself...and then get back at it! :)
I found it helpful to leave a sentence UNFINISHED every time I had to leave my computer. Then when I sat back down, I could instantly get back into my writing groove.
